FAQ
Straight answers, no fine print.
What does “liberated” mean?
We remove the parts of a device that answer to someone else, like cloud lock-ins, forced sign-ins, telemetry and bloat, then add the tools that make it yours. Every change is listed in the mod log that ships with the build.
Do you sell pirated software or games?
No. Our builds run open-source firmware, operating systems and apps, plus anything you already own. Gaming builds come with open-source games installed; commercial games come from your own store accounts.
Is there a warranty?
Every build is burn-in tested for 72 hours before it ships and comes with 12 months of VALADIR bench support on what we changed. The original manufacturer may refuse warranty work on a modded device, and each build’s spec sheet says so.
How does buying work?
Add builds to your build queue and send it to the bench. We confirm availability, final spec and lead time by email before anything is charged. Reservations for upcoming drops hold your place in the batch.
Can I send you my own device?
Yes, for most catalog builds. Add the build you want to your queue and write “bring your own” in the notes with the model and firmware version. We’ll tell you whether it can be opened before you ship it.
